Welcome to the Javascript Ball Simulation: a highly interactive physics simulation of balls. Take some time to explore the available options and experiment. Perhaps you would like to start with some instructions?

Disable this message for future visits (this option is also available in the preferences).

• Use your mouse to move and throw the balls.
• The Physics Controls allow you to alter the physics that affect the movement of the balls.
• The Ball Controls allow you to add/remove balls.
• Click on the labels of the controls for more information.
• Double-click any existing ball to edit its properties or to remove it.
• You can save settings in one of 3 save slots in a cookie, or download the settings as a file.
• In addition to loading saved settings from a cookie or a file, there are also preset settings available.

This simulation is written with Javascript and HTML only; no plug-ins required. However, the code will only work on newer browsers (I've tested in IE 6.0/7.0 and Firefox 1.5/2.0) and may bog down your computer if you add too many balls and/or you have a slow computer.
